Julia Rowland, originally from Bethesda, Maryland and raised in Naples, Florida, pursued a legal career inspired by her early ambitions. She completed her Juris Doctor (JD) with Cum Laude honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2023, demonstrating a strong commitment to justice.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Interpersonal Communication from the University of Delaware, complemented by a Minor in Journalism. Julia's scholarly achievements are highlighted by her contributions to the University of Baltimore Law Forum Journal, where she published articles on tax law and environmental protection.
Julia's professional legal experience began with an internship under Judge Charles Day, providing her with valuable courtroom exposure. She then gained corporate experience, focusing on commercial contracts and data privacy. A significant part of her legal training involved working as a Student Attorney in the Community Development Clinic at her law school, where she advised clients on contract and tax issues, integrating her interest in transactional law with community service.
Recognized for her service with a Dean's Citation for Service Award, Julia is also noted for her dedication to estate planning, where she assists families in understanding and managing complex legal matters. Her leadership skills were further established during her tenure as President of the Student Bar Association, where she was an advocate for her fellow students.
