  • Funeral and Burial Instructions
  • Last Will and Testament
  • Power of Attorney documents
  • Trust documents
  • Safe-deposit box access and instructions
  • List of usernames and passwords for online banking, credit cards and other financial providers so that they can be notified of your death and on notice to watch for unauthorized activity

  • A list of your military service and dates
  • A list of all real estate you own
  • Titles to all vehicles (or information on the loan providers)
  • Insurance polices (life insurance, home/auto, umbrella, flood, boat, etc.)
  • Copy of the most recent tax return
  • List of all previous employers so all pensions and retirement plans may be located
  • Contact information for your estate planning attorney and your CPA
  • List of friends and family that should be contacted upon your death
